Off into the Void

And so, at the crack of dawn tomorrow, I head off into the unknown. Travling cross-country with my family to Florida. Should be fun. Assuming I can convince this new modem to work. (I can get it to dial, and even establish a ppp link, but nothing I do will convince it to actually let me send packets up and down the pipe.) I'm sure I'll forget something. I just hope it won't be anything important.

Rained today for much of the evening. Went to CompUSA in search of the afore-mentioned modem and had to sprint through the pouring rain. I do like rain.

Rock the world. It just nearly-spontaenously started working. I always love it when that happens. Now I'm ready to go, swan-diving into the void.
