USA Tour, Florida: Day 1

This isn't the easiest way to write changelog entries, writing a memo on my Visor. This is almost as bad as the time I got bored and changed Yukon's keyboard to Dvorak and tried to type a journal entry. At least as bad is the knowledge that the only good way to actually post this is to manually type it into Yukon within range of a power jack. Oh well.Woke up at 0600. Left at 0755. Dad drove at first and refused to drive on US-36 because of rush-hour traffic. So we took Arapaho (Colorado 7) to just outside Brighton, then US-85 a few kilometers south. I thought Dad was crazy when he turned randomly east, but we ended up at the northern end of E-470 and took it to I-70.
We got gas and Dad offered the helm to anyone who wanted it. I jumped at the offer and drove east on I-70 for about six hours, from east of Denver to Salina, Kansas. Bethany took the helm to Kansas City, where we ate supper at an Italian restaurant.
Now Dad is driving. Our goal for the night ostensibly is St. Louis, but we might stop before then. Tomorrow it's off to Southern Adventist University somewhere in Tennessee, where one of Mom's college friends lives.
Just saw a cop head after a speeder. Gotta watch out for them. Paced a cop for an hour or two until the end of my driving stint.
Comments on Changeloging on my Visor: kinda frustrating and tedious, as it takes much longer to enter text than to think it. I'm getting a better feel for Graffiti, but I'm far from mastering it. I'm afraid to scribble too fast for fear that I'll screw something up and have to go back. It seems, too, that punctuation shift is to easy to enter, as it only requires a single tap, which I do way too much. As they say, practice makes perfect.
