My productivity may take a serious nose-dive, starting around 1300 today when I stopped by the bookstore to get some stuff (like laundry detergent -- I'm delaying doing laundry at the moment to scribble this up) and stopped by the mailroom window to get a sheet of ten thirty-three cent stamps. The girl behind the counter recogonized me and knew that I had recived a package even though I hadn't recived the slip informing me of such yet, and handed me the sheet to sign. I walked away with a box from fatbrain.com {*} under my arm. Back in the Commune, I opened the sacred box and removed Neal Stephenson's Cryptimicon. That, and I have Civilization: Call to Power on order. This will take some *serious* self-discipline to remain even remotly productive.

I just woke up from a two-hour late afternoon nap, and by sleeping through cafiteria supper I have missed my best chance to hang out with the afore-mentioned girl. Do'h. We'll see how much better we do in the near future.
