Weekend update: mostly hung out in the Commune playing Civilization: Call to Power (as Putin of the Russians) and reading Cryptonomicon. Wow that's an engaging book; I'm halfway through the nine hundred plus pages after a week of reading when I had time and a weekend of furious reading. Removed Ganges from the loop; a complete post-mortem will have to wait until I return to Boulder and have console access. Went to a string quartet chamber music concert. Contemplated my work this summer -- looks like I'm gonna get a real job. Woke up early for bowling that didn't happen; someone's gonna get flamed over that. Took out the recycling that has been overflowing for about a month. Talked to my sister for an hour -- why can't I meet a girl like her? Came up with a mp3 playlist generation method -- rank songs (or directories full of songs, for simplicity) by a float between 0.0 and 1.0, then randomly pick based on those priorities. Gotta resist the urge to code it right now...
