Nemo (carbon-based) and Iridium (silicon-based) have joined the Commune for the weekend or something resembling it. We recently returned from a gathering at Doug's, where we watched Pi and Twelve Monkeys on DVD. I think I was the only heretic there who enjoyed Pi; its grainy black-and-white stock and totally wacked out subject matter was probably a bit too much for everyone else. Twelve Monkeys was wierd as well; I'm going to have to see it again to understand more of it, but I and most everyone else enjoyed it.

And now, we attempt to do something vaguelly resembling Festing, which may or not be useful. I fear i'll revert to web graphics and any number of crazed insane games. (othello0.3 just failed compiling; perhaps I'll have to try another Freshmeat package.)
