Middle of Nowhere

I'm sitting in the starboard middle seat in our golden Honda Odyssey. We're heading east on I-80 through Wyoming. It's been snowing, so there's a little snow and sand on the road, and more blowing across the road. Bethany and I are a little unnerved by the speeds Dad sees fit to drive at. Looks like we'll be home by this evening.
Alanis has an oddly soothing effect on me. Except my batteries just ran out. Perhaps I should raid my camera's batteries.
Bethany duct-taped Enya into the stereo. Maybe Alanis can wait.
Drove yesterday from Tahoe to Evanston, Wyoming, for ten hours of driving. Now we're at it again. Whee.
Seven months from today. A little spooky.
