Three weeks ago, while I was in Boulder, my Visor spontaneously stopped working. I fetched new batteries, but this still didn't get it to do anything. When I returned to College Place, I poked around and got Geordi to function exactly once, then a quantum fluxuation caused it to break again. I ordered a refurbished Visor Deluxe from Handspring for US$99 last Monday (that would be 14 January) and the order status was "preparing order" for a rather long time. On Wednesday, I e-mailed Handspring trying to figure out what the deal was. They didn't respond intelligently. I found a Visor with a broken screen on eBay, the one I linked to earlier on Content Solutions chatter. Thursday afternoon right before I ran to thermodynamics Jared and I conducted an experiment that I'll dub either Frankenvisor or Vigor in which I plugged my screen into his processor and figured out that my screen still worked, so I bid on and won the broken unit.

Then last night I got an e-mail from Handspring saying my refurbished Visor had shipped. So I'll end up with three Visors, which should be entertaining.
