I watched "Give an Idiot a Camcorder" while eating lunch (or was it breakfast, since it was my first meal of the day?) today, and Willy saw it and concluded that Moby must be his evil twin brother. (If you haven't seen "The Willy's Strange Stuff Show", you may not be able to realize the parallels.)

Since I already concluded that Kevin Smith was my evil twin brother, the question arises: do Bethany or Gem have an evil twin sister?

Last night I watched Cecil B. Demented, which was absurdly amusing: it puts the "guerilla" back into "guerilla filmmaking". I think I can notice a theme in the movies (and music videos) I'm watching: it makes me feel better about producing The Worst Sci-Fi Prequel Ever (aka wsf0). If Kevin Smith and Moby can convince people to pay them money for the privileges of watching Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back and "Give an Idiot a Camcorder", there must be room for my bad sci-fi movies in the world. It's about like watching Trekkies: Suddenly I feel very normal.

I did come up with one justification for my spending money on my movie: It's my hobby. Some people build model trains. Some people dress up in medieval costumes and fence. Some people don civil war costumes and stage elaborate battle recreations. I make movies. Simple enough.
