Hm. So I too have experienced both periodic neck pains and allergies. The allergies are simple to fix -- see whatever doctor fixes that sort of thing. Worked for me; he wrote a prescription for Claritin (although the rest of my family swears by Allegra) and I pop one of the tiny pills whenever I start sneezing or my eyes start watering. Besides one annoying week at the beginning of March, it works great for me. The neck pain is stranger, though, and frequently seems coupled with a headache, frequently the type that feels like an icepick being pushed into my temples. It comes occasionally and usually disappears after I wake up the next morning. If it really starts hurting, popping an over-the-counter analgesic usually does the trick. But enough about my medical babblings. What you really want to hear about, of course, is an intelligent update to this thing I call a webpage. (Or maybe not, but it seemed like a good thing to discuss, as others in webspace have currently discussed or implemented the same thing. Wow, even User Friendly now has comments, as well as a seemingly-spiffy comic search that I haven't actually used yet because I can't think of anything to search on.) Maybe that's what I'll do tonight, if nothing else happens to pop up.
Nope, nope, came up with another possible project: seeing if I can get the spiffy little buttons on the top of my new Logitech keyboard to actually do something. Changing the mode on showkey reveals scancodes for these keys. Now all I have to do is figure out how on earth to get them to be useful. Ideally I'd like to hook them into my Enlightenment keybindings. I have no idea what that would require, so I guess I have my work cut out for me...
