Gem and I just returned from the third wedding we attended in three weeks, that of Aaron and Becca. It was a nice little wedding down at the Littleton Seventh-day Adventist Church, somewhere in Littleton. Gem thought it would be fun to wander around Park Meadows Mall for a bit before hand. We managed to find something worthwhile to spend our US$25 Pottery Barn credit on: a US$40 lampshade that goes great with the US$3.50 lamp Gem picked up at a thrift store. I managed to distress Gem by attempting to drive great distances (those which I knew Yoda could handle) on (almost) empty. I called it a "trust building exercise"; Gem was less that pleased. (We made it just fine to Boulder, and got gas. There's no hidden disaster unmentioned between the lines here.)
