Weekend Report

Date: 2000-06-18 15:53:40

As thretened, biked to Pearl Street (the very same one that got nicknamed Perl Street last summer as I coded in Perl on it), got two books at the Boulder Bookstore (Stephen Ambrose: Citizen Soldiers and Apple, by Jim Carlton, a "national bestseller" subtitled "The inside story of intrigue, egomania, and business blunders", which I bought because it was on sale for US$6.00 (you foriegners will need to convert to your local currency at current exchange rates) and because I opened it to the chapter entitled "The Fall of Jean-Louis Gassée"), and entered Wherehouse Music, formerly Rocky Mountain Tapes and Records. I found Matchbox 20: Mad Season on the bestseller rack at number five (the special packaging, on sale for the same price, was number four) and saw Mer De Norms (A Perfect Cicrle), a disk highly recommended by a fellow content author, at number one. Passed it up, though, and went for Titan A.E. soundtrack, which I liked seeing it last night.

Watch this space for more fast-breaking updates on the boring life of the Jäger.

USA Tour, Florida: 9 Days

Well aren't *we* the superior ones? Reveling in our great awareness as we
march into the ocean, fully cognizant of the destination to which *our*
herd of lemmings plunges? ;)
