I just spent seventeen quality minutes on the phone with Speakeasy and tried to figure out what we can do about my Internet access. They're going to try to hook me up with a dedicated line over which I can run DSL, which they'll beg, barter, plead, and otherwise coerce Qwest into running straight to the central office instead of through my unfriendly neighborhood pair gain box. I placed the order minutes ago; it remains to be seen how soon it will be connected.
Unfortunately, this means we might not have net access (at least, non-dialup net access) in time for Megafest 4.0.
