Former neighbor, News Monster, and business partner Scott Galvin (famous for the punctuation-challenged website buildmeasite) built a buzzword-compliant web-based database. It uses Web 2.0 and ajax and stuff, and is sort of like Access on the web. Except it's better than Access, because it actually uses a back-end database that's not going to fall over when more than one person tries to access it. Now Scott's trying to sell it on eBay for the bargain price of US$170k. I'll take two! Or not, but it could come in handy. Especially if you're Google, and you're trying to expand your shiny online office applications.

Apparently eBay-based sales of companies isn't entirely without precedent; Scott points out that Tucows bought web calendar Kiko. Which, apparently, gave Scott the idea.

(Next question: Will PayPal actually process payments of US$170k?)
