Overlapping toys

There's clearly some overlap between what the cats find interesting and what Calvin finds interesting. I think the kangaroo is the strongest overlap; it's a six-inch-tall stuffed animal and Calvin can interact with it (especially now that he figured out that kangaroos hop, so he will wave it around, hopping from surface to surface, while he says "hop"; when he hops the kangaroo up or down his parents it's slightly more endearing than his driving cars up and down our torsos). The cats couldn't care less for his building toys but they do enjoy the occasional ball.
