In which the intrepid narrator announces a forthcoming job change

I have accepted an offer to work at Google in San Francisco. My last day at Qualcomm in Boulder will be Friday, December 18. I plan to take the month of January off, to ski and probably visit China, then I'll start at Google on Monday, February 8. Kiesa will stay in Boulder with the rest of the family until the end of the school year, then join me in San Francisco.
