Reliable agents have reported to me that the actual events were quite different.Evil Genius Calvin from the alternate universe was having trouble with Evil Jaeger, so he used his Universe Portal to exchange Jaegers, hoping for a kinder, gentler father who would stop usurping his science projects in order to take over the world.
I know this is true because Agent Cat-5 has always been a reliable source.
