Glass stovetop

We have the misfortune of a glass stovetop in our apartment. In the stovetop care guide we were given, it specifically mentions cast iron, and says its fine as long as it's coated, otherwise it can scratch the surface. I still use my cast iron skillet, because that's where I do most of my cooking, but I try to be very careful not to slide it around. I guess the worst case scenario is they have to replace the stovetop when I move out.Fun with natural gas (2013-12-08 15:35:05)
