After closing Friday afternoon, Kiesa and I have been scurrying around trying to figure out how to paint our interior. We feel a bit guilty painting surfaces the previous owners seemed to like (especially after my mother's experience with the new owners of her house in Boulder... although she's having fun wreaking havoc on the house she just bought), but we managed to survive. After locating suitable sacrificial clothing for painting in, I started with the master bathroom (which we're painting canary yellow over the almost-pink) on Friday evening and Saturday. After acquiring the remaining paints this morning (I forgot to bring the paint chip for the master bedroom with me on Friday, and Kiesa rejected the red I picked for the dining room), we painted a single coat of blue on the master bedroom; it looks like we might actually be able to get away with a single coat with a bit of touch-up, which sounds like it'll be much easier than the master bath.

The painting fun will continue this week in between packing. We have a week left in this apartment, which is a bit bizarre.
