There are Sad Puppies and Rabid Puppies and the two are NOT the same.I'm a Sad Puppy supporter, so I'm aware there WAS no 2017 Sad Puppy campaign. So there couldn't have been any Sad Puppy Hugo nominees.
The Sad Puppies proved their point that the Hugos were dominated by people more concerned with politics than with good stories. And they're done.
I have to say that Jemisin and Leckie strike me as just meh. Neither one is as good as Bujold. I haven't read the Three Body Problem yet so I don't know about Cixin Liu.
