I'm not sure why I do it, but I'm going to watch the our esteemed president stand in front of a hostile Congress and try to tell everyone what we need to know about the world. (Like last year, this will be facilitated by the BBC's live netcast, since I gave up on television long ago.) The Democratic Party provided State of the Union Bingo, which could be entertaining. Just in case anyone's bored and wants to complain about the sorry state of our country (or defend the President's honor against those who don't see the wisdom of his ways), I'll be on irc.festing.org, #fest.
