Waiting for prices to drop

Games that are popular and successful will probably stay at the $50 price point for at least a year or two. On the other hand, crappy games (or ones that didn't sell well) that were released a few months ago can easily be found new for $20-$30. If any of the past Final Fantasy releases are an indicator, it could be a long wait before the price on that one begins to drop.
