If someone handed me US$50 and said, "Go buy a video game", I wouldn't hesitate to buy Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles. (In fact, a few weeks ago I contemplated FF: CC but instead acquired Super Monkey Ball 2 with the Toys'R'Us giftcard I had floating around from a wedding present.) I'm intrigued by its multi-player scheme, but since I lack a GameBoy Advance, I lack the ability to actually try it out.
Hmm. I'm now within striking distance of beating both Pikmin and Metroid Prime, but it's an open question when I'll get back to them.
(Here's a question for the English majors, minors, and dabblers in the audience: do video game titles get italicized as if they were larger works (books, movies, albums), or quoted like smaller works (songs, chapters, poems)? What about television shows (and their episodes)?)
