While searching for information about possible Debian ports to alternate architectures, I stumbled across the port page for the debian-mips and debian-mipsel port. They both run on the same processors, differing only on the endianness of the processor. I have a sneaking suspicion that the "el" at the end of "mipsel" stands for "endian little". (We can call that an little obscure pun.)
