It will no doubt entertain and excite everyone to know that Kiesa now has a new and exciting webpage up at kiesa.festing.org. (We experienced something of a role reversal this weekend; she stayed up until 0230 this morning getting her page to work properly, and I read Someone Comes to Town, Someone Leaves Town (the latest novel by Cory Dotcorow) in less than twenty-four hours. Of course, I also spent some quality time this weekend working on my Megafest wiki (and watching excited as other Megafest attendees added content), acquired my first power tool, and strung three runs of Cat5e from the kitchen to the basement. One run adds a phone jack to the basement (tapping into the phone jack in the kitchen), one adds a phone jack into a different portion of the kitchen, and the third adds an Ethernet jack to the kitchen. Between the three jacks I can sit my DSL modem/wireless access point in the kitchen (I'm going to suspend it from the under-side of the counter) and connect it to the phone line and the wired network in my basement without running cables across the kitchen floor.)
