Jury Pay

There's an article in today's Wall Street Journal (page D1) entitled "Courts Try to Make Jury Duty More Palatable". A box at the top gives jury pay for some states. (Which I assume means county courts, not the United States District Court that I got conscripted into serving on.) Texas pays US$5 per day, California pays US$15, and Massachusetts pays the most -- US$50.
