World-readable
I enjoyed American Gods, but I actually enjoyed Neil Gaiman's earlier book Neverwhere more. I would be inclined to describe both books as "urban fantasy", which is a sub-genre I'd like to see more of.
So many books, so little time. (At least now that I have a TiVo.)
