Just as I was feeling smug superiority over another nearby website about my ability to keep my system clock accurate, I discovered that it wasn't actually correct. I quickly installed Debian's ntp-simple package and now it looks like the clock is correct, although some timestamps are a bit off. So this post appears to have been posted before its parent post. Fun!
