I prefer the touch pads. Accidental touching is annoying, but there are software fixes for that (delay activate after typing) or a hardware on/off switch. To fix the problem of many drags to get across the screen, just set the acceleration really high. I find that touch pads are sensitive enough that I can do detail well enough by rolling my finger. Fast swipes I set so a full left to right swipe of the pad moves the pointer one full screen width.Illyria (2005-03-30 22:52:41)
