New Year's Fest

Humblik and I are thinking about attending the New Year's fest if you are willing to have us. This idea is in Alpha because of several complications. Anya and I are planning to visit her folks for Christmas and we are tentatively planning on returning home on the 28th. It would really stink to turn around and drive back on the 30th or so, but for me to stay out there all the way to the 2nd would seem to be vastly overstaying my welcome. Humblik is leaning towards driving out on the 30th and driving back on the 1st or 2nd. So I could drive out with Anya, be dropped off at your place after we leave her folks, and then ride back with Humblik, but that would mean I would be camped out in your apartment for about 120 hours, and that seems too long.So like I said, this idea is in alpha. I New Year's fest before New Years is a possibility, but then there is the problem of me getting back. I can't bring my desktop if I fly back, and if I bring my work laptop I'd have to use Windows the entire time I'm out there which I'm not excited about, but I could manage.
Your thoughts would be appreciated. And if we're not welcome, it's ok to say it. :-)
